baby steps
remember those pants that i couldn't get on? well, this morning i got them on, zipped, and even buttoned up. they were still very tight, and there's no way i was going to wear them out in public, but it's movement in the right direction. i've still got a few more inches to go before i consider really wearing them, but at least i know i'm getting there.
i've finally got my cardio up enough that i can do a half hour on the eliptical without dying. at low incline my heart rate is around 160 after a half hour. i can do a half hour on the treadmill at low incline without getting my heart rate past 137. this is definitely an improvement as when i started i could barely do 10 minutes of each without passing out.
it occurred to me the other day that if/when bryan and i move out of our apartment i'm going to have to renew my bally's membership since we won't have access to the gym anymore. :( that's sad. guess i'd better get all the use out of it that i can while we've still got it.

your flaky, buttery crust... your creamy and scalding hot filling... the way the mere smell of you makes me drool... how you never quite fill me up and always leave me thinking "if i go to the gym after work i can afford to eat a second one..."
