weak human parts
yesterday i really worked hard to not make myself sick. all too often recently i've eaten more than i should have, faster than my body could realize i had done it, and i ended up sick as a result. yesterday i consciously paced myself, kept my intake low, and managed to make it all the way through the day without throwing up. woke up this morning so proud of myself!
two hours later and i'm feeling nauseous for no good reason. what the heck...?

keeping track
started off the morning with the last of my maple & brown sugar "weight control" oatmeal. about to eat my last apple, with the last of the cheese. i have one slimfast shake left for lunch, and i think there might be one granola bar left in the basket for my afternoon snack. it's a good thing i'm going shopping today!

upper body
today is a holiday so i don't have to go to work. i still would like to finish up some cleaning that didn't get done yesterday (i now have a sinkload of dishes that stink of fish guts, for example), i need to go get some groceries, and i probably ought to walk the dog but i am not sure it's going to get much above freezing today and i don't want to do that to his poor little feet, so i probably won't.
i do want to try to hit the gym tonight to get in my upper body workout. i'm going to try to do the life fitness machines today, and later this week i hope to do the big cable machine for my second upper body workout.
i need to get more hand weights for the house because i still only have a 5 lbs and two 20 lbs. i need, like, 8, 10, 12, and 15. at least one of each. maybe when my tax returns come in.
anyway, so here's my goal for tonight:
- overhead press
- lat pull
- chest press
- seated row
- bicep curl
- tricep extension
- butterfly
- reverse butterfly
- 30 minutes of cross-trainer

tweaking
i spent all day yesterday cleaning the house. every room except the computer room got at least something. floors, counters, laundry, dishes, light switches, shower, toilet, door handles, baseboards, couches... i didn't get to the window sills or the mud on the wall from the dog, but i cleaned basically everything else. i even made the bed!
i had my oatmeal for breakfast, a leftover taco bell bean burrito for lunch, then the boys brought home fish they had caught and i tried to choke it down for dinner. it was ok, slathered in tartar sauce, but i needed something i could eat less daintily, and with more abandon. i was getting shaky and needed something fast. i sliced off some cheddar, tossed it on a tortilla with some hot sauce and a couple pieces of pre-cooked chicken, and made myself a quesadilla.
then i passed out from exhaustion.

i'm not sure how it happened that i retained more water weight after yesterday but, whatever.

Not again...
Woke this morning to more nausea, stomach cramps, and g.i. issues. Tried to run errands, nearly threw up several times. Now back at the house curled up, wanting to die. I should go weigh myself.

if my math is correct...
i did out some math last night and if i did it right, i only have about 5 or 6 more lbs of fat to lose in order to reach my goal of 20% body fat.

frail human parts
the best laid plans, of mice and men... monday was supposed to be lower body night. it didn't happen. tuesday was supposed to be upper body night but since i missed monday, it became lower body night. it still didn't happen. i'm looking at today and realistically it's not going to happen today either.
i just hope that the stupid crap i'm dealing with which is preventing me from working out is cleared up in time for our scrimmage on saturday.
