walking through the break room at lunch with my freshly heated chicken pot pie, i was stopped by a co-worker who demanded i cut it open to see what it looked like inside so he could decide if he too should go to the store and buy some.

yes, he had. see, that's the thing. apparently when he was a kid he quite enjoyed pot pies but since then he's been disappointed by all the ones he's had from the store so he wanted to see if mine looked good so he would know if he should try that brand.
it was the $.75 generic grocery store brand. it's potatoes, carrots, peas, meat, and sauce, in a crust. what more do you want? buy one yourself! if you don't like it, you're only out $.75. it's not even a Marie Calendars level of investment ($6).
