i hasa headache

might be dehydration, might be lack of caffeine, might be that it's 100+ degrees outside. whatever it is, my head hurts. i'm not looking forward to the drive home.

enough of that

last night when i got home axel jumped up on me, throwing me back into the wall. when i tried to turn away from him, i ended up slamming my forehead into the edge of the still-open front door, giving myself a nice bruise.

time to work on the jumping.

1 step back, 2 steps forward

got the pockets fixed on that skirt this weekend. also got all the skirt panels attached together. got the front zipper mostly assembled, just have to do some top stitching and finish stitching up the front center seam, then i can do some test fitting. i left the side seams without the top stitching until i can make sure that everything is going to fit correctly with the waistband and all.

once that's done i just assemble and attach the waistband, put on a button, and call it a day. may put on some back pockets but maybe not. i don't think i have enough of the original denim to make pockets so they would have to be out of remnants from something else.

SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!

i HATE the way my roommate at work laughs. honestly, i hate every sound he makes, but mostly his laugh. he alternates between snorting and hissing. the sound of his voice gets on my nerves and his speech pattern makes me want to hit him with a frying pan, but his laugh really makes me want to stab him in the neck with a pencil. i think i need to request a set of earphones for christmas.
