big city

last summer we went to new york city for a kickball tournament. i was there once before but it was within the safety of a band trip, and i was surrounded by a couple hundred people i knew. this time it was me, bryan, and two of our friends. i discovered that new york is possibly one of the most terrifying things i've seen. we'll be going back this summer for another tournament there and i'm kindof totally scared about the prospect.

pitstop

update:

kickball. lots of it.

axel. he got huge (at 5 months old, he's already 70 lbs, though his growth shows signs of slowing somewhat)

cars. omg *slams head on the table*

work. i still have a job. b is still working on it.

clothes. i'm still sewing, albeit slowly. seems like every time i plan on doing some sewing, something else happens instead. still, i did just finish two swimsuits in the last week, so i guess that's progress.

body. i got fat and pasty over the winter. b went the opposite direction. there's some tension. again, every time i plan on working out, something else happens instead.

and that about sums it up. :)
