checking things off

- put clamp on water drain pipe on washing machine
- replaced dryer hose
- treated perimeter of the house for ants
- touched up paint in bedroom, kitchen, and all baseboards and doorways in the hallway
- painted bathroom
- washed bathroom floor
- hung shower curtain to cover washing machine
- took out garbage and recycling
- washed load of dishes
- washed two loads of laundry

my own little "honey do" list

so who wants to help me work around the house this weekend?

need to finish painting the bathroom, put up some window tint sticker stuff on one window, replace the dryer hose, replace the filters on the a/c units, mow the lawns, put up a new shower curtain... you know, little stuff.

help?

i discovered this weekend that the exhaust hose on the dryer has a giant tear in it so none of the exhaust is actually going out the vent, but just blowing around the utility room. super.

that didn't help

i spent my lunch break asleep under my desk. sure, it was cozy and warm, but i woke up more tired than i was before, and i still have a headache and an upset stomach.

necessary evils

saturday i helped some friends paint their living room. my job was to cut in around all the low-level trim (baseboards, windows, counter tops, chair rails, etc) so i spent the day crawling around on the floor.

sunday i did a deep-clean of the house, going room-by-room to remove all the furniture, thoroughly clean the floors and counters and everything, then put all the furniture back.

i hurt all over today.
