quiet time

bryan is doing his last big out-of-town trip before he settles down to find a "real" job. he flew first to phoenix, then san francisco. in a week or so he'll be flying back to phoenix to do some more work, then to new york to meet me for a tournament at the end of august, then he'll be back home.

having a good hair day

just thought i'd share that with you. too bad my boss has the camera today so i have no way to prove it to you. you'll just have to take my word for it. it's soft and shiny and has a little curl at the end. very nice.

painting some more

some friends of ours recently bought their first house. it's a very nice house, quite spacious, and they got a great deal on it. the only snag? the bottom floor is gold. not even like a goldish yellow, or kindof orangy, but actual, metallic, gold.

we will be having a paint party this weekend to amend that situation.
