round 1: fail!

so, i took apart those jeans, traced them out onto muslin, basted together the muslin and tried them on.

where was my head?

last night i got my clothes ready for work and i thought it might be nice to wear some green today. just to feel springy on what would surely be another gloomy monday.

i completely forgot that tomorrow is st patrick's day. i'm not sure if i've got any more green in my wardrobe. oops.

today i discovered that i really don't like raw broccoli. i'm not a fan of it cooked, either, but i really don't like it at all raw. *gag*

facing the music

i recently posted pics of myself on flickr wearing my new white shirt and a pair of jeans that i hope to replicate.

the next day one of my pictures was favorited by a person that is a member of the group "fat admirers" as well as several bondage, spandex, and fetish groups. wow.

the decider

i think i have finally decided what i'm going to do with the brown plaid i have left over. if i can fit all the pieces in (which i should be able to do easily. i made both a dress and a pair of slacks out of another piece the same size) i'm going to attempt both a pencil skirt and a pair of walking shorts.
