what (not?) to wear

so b is going out today to help his brother help their MOm's friend MOve. he's not really looking forward to it since we don't really like her very much, and are pretty sure that she, or one of her family members, is responsible for bryan's car getting fined after it had been sitting quite peacefully in his MOm's driveway for like 7 years.

ANYWAY, so after that he's going to a car show and while i may go to that part for a half hour or so, i've otherwise basically got the day to myself. i think i may make something. i've got a pile of denim and i was thinking i'd make some jeans. at first i was planning on tearing apart another pair i've got to use as a pattern, but after taking pics of them on me the other day, i'm not sure i should be wearing that style at all. they kinda make my butt look super big. so then i was thinking i'd just use the pattern i used for the brown slacks, but make some little MOdifications to make them look MOre like jeans and less like slacks (like rolled hems and back pockets and belt loops and a narrower waistband with a metal button) but then i thought maybe i'd try the pattern i got several years ago for some overalls... and now i don't know.

catching hell

why is it that i always get chastised for not taking the phone off voicemail at 8 am? why is it that just because i'm here 15 minutes early every morning, and the people that actually answer the phones are always late, it's suddenly my job? maybe you could consider showing up on time once in a while, instead of yelling at me for not doing your job.

bad day

and not in the "daniel powder" kind of way. hate that song.

really needed to go to the gym tonight, only to find out that apparently the division president sent out a notice at the bottom of sunday's email about the canceled games (which i didn't read, because i already knew the games were canceled) about a board meeting scheduled for tonight. no gym for me.

i'm very grumpy.

them: (at the end of the day) nope, didn't get it. try again on monday.

monday
me: *send fax*
them: oops sorry, the lady that should have gotten the fax is out of the office today and nobody else knows how to walk over and look to see if the fax came in. try again on tuesday.

tuesday
me: *send fax*
them: yeah, we got it, but it's all weird, like it came through but someone put the paper back in the machine and it got printed on both sides. can you re-send it again?
me: *send fax*
them: oops, looks like we actually did get it on friday. sooooorryyy...
