he's trying to put together a friday team called "Serious Business" which he is marketing as "filled with the hottest single women in hampton roads, and keg stands every week". supposedly jimmy will be captain but we all know i'll be the one doing all the real work. :(

he's also working on putting together a sunday team which will be comprised of a lot of our players from this winter season. most of them play on other teams on thursdays in the spring and fall, but wanted to find a way to still play together, so they are talking about a sunday team. since it's most of the people from our current team, i suggested "insurrection". bryan was trying to tell this to some players last night and somehow it was misheard and became "guiness erection". i'm not a fan of this name. and again, you know i'll be doing all the actual work. i'm not happy about this either.

finally, he's trying to find an existing thursday team to join, along with his buddy, jimmy. if he joins an existing team, it means likely i won't be doing as much work, but still plenty because that's the bargaining chip. if they take him on, he offers my services as a statistician/scorekeeper/team mom. ugh.

meanwhile, it's likely i will still basically be running at least the thursday division, if we do play there, and will probably take on a large role in the sunday division as well, unless i make it known that i don't want the job.

i'm at a point where i'm tired of the work. i don't want to play and don't really want to even help anymore. i want things to go smoothly, but i'm tired of doing so much for free. it's getting in the way of my actual job and that's a huge problem for me. i'd like to either be hired on officially as an employee and get paid to do all this, or step aside and let someone else do it all so i can just show up and have a little fun again.
