i'm going to go run my new dress through the washer and dryer to make sure it's shrunk down as far as it's going to go (i did pre-wash the fabric, but i know the fabric can stretch out a little from working with it) before i hem it and take it in on the sides.

i was going to finish the belt, but it occurs to me that i haven't bought another belt buckle. i need that. maybe while b is out at kball practice tonight i'll run out to hancock's to get a belt buckle, and see if they have the skinny trim i wanted. if they don't have the trim, it's ok since it requires taking apart the side seams a bit and removing both the pockets and the belt loops, but for a more finished looking product, it just may be worth it.
