still no sign of winter

it is nearly christmas and the weather here still feels like early fall. the last week has been in the 60's during the days, maybe 40's at night. i don't think we've had a single hard freeze yet this winter. in the next coming week there's only one day that's supposed to be even close to freezing at night.

it's been foggy and drizzly and warm. would someone tell mother nature that it's supposed to be winter now? a little snow plz? just a light dusting? at least some frost? something?

summer is going to be horrible.

lousy timing

i woke up this morning with a sore throat and have only gotten worse since then. i've been coughing and sneezing and stuffed up all day.

i had just started going back to the gym last week (which is probably where i caught this), and have about 6 parties in the next 3 days, including a karaoke party that bryan and i are hosting tomorrow night.

now is not the time that i needed to be sick.

a whole new level

we went to a friend's house last night for a party and their brother-in-law had modded an original xbox into a home karaoke machine. it was just like being at wanna b's, only without the smoke, the expensive beer, or the clown lady sightings. we are going to have him hook us up with a similar setup so we can have karaoke parties at our house. should be good times.
