i'm sitting here listening to a conversation between my department head, my supervisor, and another person in our department. they are discussing starting a city blog. they have now said that word so many times it's begun to lose meaning. worse, it's really starting to make me a little nauseous. at the point where the other co-worker said "but how does a blog compare to a wall on myspace?" i wanted to scream.

i love my supervisor but listening to this conversation is so painful. old people talking about technology they don't really, or just barely, understand. it hurts.
