we did it
we got autumn all the way to lion's arch by sunday night. while we didn't get ryan all the way there, he's at least at the gates of kryta, which is within spitting distance of lion's arch. if we had had enough time to get him through that mission, he would have been there.
so they both got to at least see the wintersday decorations, the carolers, the snowball fights, the gigantic santa hats on the lion statues, and the grenchies stealing christmas presents from little kids. autumn attempted some of the quests but found them to be generally too hard for her at this stage in the game, but at least she got to see it all and participate in the final day ceremonies and we both got one each of the ice crown and wreath crown.
oh, and i found that two of my characters had birthdays. one of them got a siege turtle, of which i already had two, but the other got a charr shaman which is pretty cool. i gave two of the siege turtles to autumn. one for her and one for ryan. :)
my E/Mo is 29 months old. so excited to see what they do for the third birthday sets. i wonder if they will continue to develop the birthday presents after gw2 comes out.
