nice sentiment

apparently my hairdresser (aka my next door neighbor, ada) thinks i am fearless.

i tried to convince her that no, really, i'm an introvert. i'm quiet and i like my alone time and people burn me out. but she would hear none of it. she said "i've seen you... you'll talk to anybody about anything. you've always got something to talk about. you're fearless."

i guess that goes along with me showing her a picture of my last haircut and her refusing to cut it like that because it was so boring and plain, and i certainly wasn't boring and plain. though i tried to insist that yes, i really am boring and plain, she just wouldn't believe me.

in the end i just said "ok, you do what you think would look good on me. i'm gonna trust you on this." it's just hair, right? it grows back.

/wave

sunday night i managed to catch up with my sister on guild wars for a little while. that was fun. we wandered around a while together, did some little quests, beat up some monsters, got her some new armor... even got her all the way to piken square. w00t! unfortunately then bryan's company showed up so i had to get offline, but hopefully some day soonish we will do it again. i'm hoping to get her at least to lion's arch before christmas so she can see lion's arch all decked out for the holidays. that's always fun. maybe i'll get her and ryan a copy of nightfall for christmas so we can hop her over there and get some heroes to take around with her.

although if i had to choose, personally, between playing nightfall and playing factions, i would totally choose factions. that one was way more fun.

i'll take your word for that

apparently my new haircut is very cute. either that or people like to lie to me. i personally spend very little time looking at it, so i am not quite sure how i feel about it just yet. but it certainly feels nicer having it shorter, it stays out of my way, i don't have to deal with gross, ragged ends... so i guess it's a success. yay!

would i lie to you?

just because i've been saying for the past several months that i am going to cut my hair up to my shoulders is no reason for you not to believe me when i say "ok, i'm going to get my hair cut tonight after work" then show up at my house later all astonished, claiming you didn't think i'd actually do it.
