will it never end?
this weekend i painted the living room. it's a lovely shade of blue and as bryan said "ahhh... THAT'S what was missing!"
last night i painted the ceiling in the living room and hallway. all that's left to paint in there is all the trimwork (baseboards, doorways, windows) and then i have to do the cutting in around the ceiling and i'm totally done painting the living room. i have held off on painting the hallway until eric is done with the floor because i've found that he tends to make a mess and i'm generally glad after he leaves that i hadn't gone ahead and painted before he did what he had to do.
once i'm done painting the living room we can start to move the furniture in, but we still need to swap out all the switches and outlets. i'd like to get that done sooner, rather than later, but i need bryan's help with that part because i'm a scaredy cat and i'm just sure i'd electrocute myself.
meanwhile, bryan has begun to wire up the surround sound stereo system. i bought him a set of speaker mounts as a present (omg seriously? $90 for 5 speaker mounts!) and last night while i was painting he was happily drilling holes in the wall to run wire so nobody has to look at it. it'll be pretty spiffy once it's up.
oh, and i may have mentioned this before but let me reiterate:
bare naked eyeballs + latex paint = owowowowowow
