that's gross
this morning i stopped by 7-11 to get my morning rush of caffeine, and decided to grab a breakfast sandwich while i was there. now, i made a suggestion to myself when i did this last week that i shouldn't get 7-11 breakfast sandwiches. they are generally pretty nasty and give me heartburn and an upset stomach later. but i'm not a morning person and don't think straight until close to noon, so against my own better judgment, i gave it a shot.
when i got to work, i opened the wrapper and my first thought was "they forgot the cheese!" then "wait, why is there a very thin slice of tomato in here?" then "ewwwww... that's not a tomato..."
apparently the cheese starts out as some sort of puck-shaped slice of plastic. even after nuking the thing for 45 seconds it refused to melt. it just sat there jeering at me, glistening terrifyingly. i pulled it out and tossed it away.
but even after that the biscuit retained that sickening smell. beside that, the egg was also somewhat frighteningly rubbery, and i am not sure that the biscuit was actually completely cooked. it looked like they had just barely gotten it to the golden-brown stage and called it good enough.
and guess what? now i have heartburn and an upset stomach. ugh. remind me to stick with the cheeseburger dogs.
