additionally, i have finally capped all of the core elite skills and am starting on the campaign-specific skills. unfortunately, skill capping is expensive and i keep running out of gold to buy more signets of capture. so i'm having to go off and do other things, help people finish quests, repeat missions, wander around in the wilderness killing things, etc to try to raise the money. i feel like a junky... "just 20 more gold and i can get another... what can i do for 20 more gold? what can i sell? i don't need this rune, do i? i can sell this sword, right? i'll never use that piece of armor..." it's awful.

guess it would have been smarter to just cap as i went, but i got all the way through the first 2 campaigns before i even purchased the ability to switch between secondary professions so while i could have capped mesmer and elementalist skills, i would still have had to go back to get all the others. oh well.

the one thing i wish guild wars had that WoW has is the ability to look at your character stats online. there are plenty of programs out there that let you go online and look at your WoW character, see their stats, weapon and armor, show people what you look like... i guess the best i could do is to use xfire to take screen shots which would be uploaded to my profile. that's just such a pain to remember to do...

one of these days i'm going to actually catch my sister and her hubby online and we'll all play together. that would be fun. now if only i could get them to leave pre-searing and explore the rest of the world... they've been missing so much!

oh, and the halloween world event is this weekend. weeee!!! hooray for the mad king... hooray for witches potions and pumpkin masks... hooray for dead people in town, mummified merchants, and spirits rising out of the ground... :)
