things i didn't do but fully intended to:

scrape out remnants of nasty grout in shower re-grout shower install caulk strips in shower scrub glue off new floor make space for new washer and dryer pick up new washer and dryer put new handles on interior doors mount interior doors finish painting living room patch kichen ceiling paint baseboards in kitchen where fridge goes figure out why the shower is cold and fix it make the front door not squeak quite so loudly

things i did do that were actually on my list of things to do:

install new ceiling fan and light in kitchen install outlets and switches (just kitchen and bathroom left to do) paint baseboards in living room get furniture out of kitchen into living room

things that got done that were not at all what i intended to spend my weekend doing:

buy, paint, and mount speaker wire covers argue with bryan about what trim wood to use to make "picture-frame-esque" projector screen frame rearrange sewing and computer rooms to get to outlets move computer into computer room play bejeweled 2 play halo 3, beat down one of bryan's buddies, promptly got my butt handed to me finish reading half a book in one night solve about half of the puzzles in my sudoku book sweep the floor. several times. sweat. a lot. stay up too late, wake up too early, get entirely too little sleep
