i had to share

there are too many people in my life that absolutely have to see this. i know it's no longer being actively updated but you can still read the archives and just... wow. if ever anything was described as awesomely bad, it would be the things on that web site.

fits and spurts

yes, i'm still playing guild wars.

i don't get to play as often as i'd really like because life tends to interfere and other things demand my attention, but i'm still hacking away at it. now that work on the house has somewhat stalled, i've been playing a little bit more. not a lot, but a couple hours a week or so. as of last night i have completed 14 of 20 missions in nightfall, which is very exciting to me. there are two more that i had skipped and need to go back and finish, which will bring me up to 16 of 20.

note to self:

eating an entire medium sized bag of reese's pieces for breakfast is probably not a great idea. it will make your teeth hurt for the rest of the day and give you a very upset stomach.

stick to something reasonable and nutritious like red bull and 7-11 cheeseburger dogs.

bryan is my hero

i has a new muffler!

it's actually the muffler off my old car but it has no holes (ones that aren't supposed to be there, anyway), it's got a minimal and acceptable level of rust damage, it has all of the hangers that it's supposed to have, and my car doesn't sound like crap anymore. i've noticed a minimal amount of performance improvement, and i think my gas mileage is even a little better now. w00t!

i discovered last night that playing with humans (in guild wars) makes me really appreciate one thing:
