under stress

i haven't been feeling particularly well lately. quite honestly i've been feeling like crap. i spend a lot of time wishing i was sleeping instead of doing whatever it is that i'm doing, and eating way more than i should be. i'm depressed and i know it and things just seem to keep getting worse and worse. things that are outside my control, but still effect me. i just feel like i'm getting kicked around and beat down. i need a vacation. it's a good thing we're going to portland in a matter of weeks...

crossing fingers

drove by the new house last night on my way home and they had a load of stuff set at the curb for the trash collectors. this is a good sign that the people living there are indeed moving out and hopefully by next week we will be laying new floors and getting our stuff moved in. i'm very excited.

does not compute

by all reports it appears that the morning's reports are holding. no other theories seem to be put forth. it looks like a foregone conclusion that yes, indeed chris benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his son, then hanged himself, over the course of probably 3 days.

it's horrifying and terrible and i can't get my head around it. it doesn't make any sense. how do you reconcile in your own mind when one of your heroes falls so far? how do you put the name "murderer" with someone so great? how is this possible? i'm absolutely in shock.

bitter pills

bryan and i watch pro-wrestling. "sports entertainment". we know it's prescripted, and it's as fake as anything else on tv, but we watch it for the personalities. the characters. the trash talking, the storylines, the exciting moments and the moments that tug at your heart strings. whether it's simply one man's struggle for greatness, or two people falling in love, there's always some interesting story going on.

but last night was one of the most tragic stories we've ever seen, and unfortunately it was real.

bryan's mom's house is near the water. consequently in the summer months there are a lot of mosquitos.

i am a moron. consequently my poor bare feet look like i have contracted chicken pox.

no more internet for me

after sitting here for the past hour or so with a heartrate holding at 100 bpm or higher (it was up to about 140 bpm for a while there) i have decided that it is probably best that i don't pay attention to message boards that have anything to do with bryan, his customers, or his work. it's just not worth it for me to die of an anxiety attack over stupid internet arguments.
