d.g. brown, are you there?
so, today i got a message by janette leicht, a girl i went to elementary school with. we lived down the street from each other starting in 3rd grade when she moved here from... wherever it was that she moved here from with her dad. we used to hang out all the time, cause we were the only girls in our neighborhood even close to the same age. we went to the same middle school, i think, but didn't have any classes together, and our friendship faded. once she transferred to a different hs, i didn't see her again for another few years. didn't hear from her really aside from occassionally i'd drive past her house and see here there, so i'd stop in and say hi. she went to school in hawaii for a while, cause i think she was going to become a marine biologist or something. then she transferred to oregon state university. anyway, at some point, we got back in touch a year or two ago, and we chat once in a while. she's cool. we should talk more.
anyway, today she messages me out of the blue and asks if i remember a guy named d.g. brown who went to our elementary school. well, of course i remember him! how could i forget someone named d.g.? :) so she tells me he's got a web site, which i promptly go to and start digging through it to find out what's been going on with him since 6th grade. man, it's been way too long. turns out he goes to university of oregon, and is actively christian, and is in computer science or something, and considering becoming a math major or something. so i grabbed his screen name and shot him off a message... well, several. he's finally back online now (he was "away" earlier, and he isn't now), but not talking to me. :( bummer.
now i have this desire to find more people that i used to know.
